 The Suttor Merino Stud Guarantee
 As part of our service to merino breeders, the Suttor Merino Stud offers a comprehensive service including;
- genetic seedstock,
- regular comunications,
- a sheep classsing service,
- and even assistance in the selling of your surplus stock.
The stud has a philosophy of proven genetic gains, and is endeavouring to promote active participation in trials allowing you the sheep breeder to judge for yourself, the benefits of the Suttor Merino Stud advantage.
Proven traditional Fine Wool genetics
All our stud sheep are classed for bone structure and constitution, stylish wool bred on traditional lines and CVs (rather than microns).
Sires in use include Merryville Ringmaster, Merryville Brilliant Example, Merrignee Ringmaster and Grathlyn Silky.
Every Suttor ram is sold with full measurement details including, micron, C.V’s, curvature and index values All these tests are current tests, complying with the Australian Association of Stud Merino Breeders Recommendations, where tests are undertaken within the six week period leading up to our on property sale.
Our flock is curently MN2 (monitored negative stage 2) for OJD with testing for MN3 status underway and is accredited free of Brucellosis.
